Name my Beatle Tribute Band
First off I should make it clear that we're not technically a tribute band since we don't look like them or wear suits, wigs and makeup, but we do play Beatles songs exclusively. I play rhythm guitar and sing John's parts the bass player sings Paul's parts the lead guitarist sings George's parts. Our drummer has never sung, but may give a few of Ringo's songs a try.
Three of us are in our fifties and our George guy is only 28, not that that makes any difference.
One of us thinks that it's important to have "Beatles" or "Beatle" in the name and others don't think that it's all that important. We're also being told that if we do use any form of the word Beatles on a website we risk being sued by the lawyers at Apple Corp.
I realize that there are a lot of names that people who are true Beatle fans like the people on this forum would understand, but I'd like something that even someone who is not a big Beatles fan (Yes, people like that do exist) would recognize as being a Beatles Tribute Band name.
So any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm, yeah I don't think it needs "Beatle" in the name, like you said, I think that invites possible lawsuit issues, and as you're saying, more hardcore fans wouldn't need that in there to know it was a Beatley band.
Okay, this however doesn't answer your question. What about a phrase - too long? Like "In The Sky" or "Don't Bother Me" or "Savoy Truffle"?

Some sort of phrase like that is what I'm looking for, but it's a bit tricky, because, I believe that only real Beatles fans would know what those phrases that you mentioned mean.
We're considering A Hard Day's Night.

How about "The Ballad of ___" and the blank could be filled with names of people in your band. Sorry if this is a bad suggestion.
