I've been listening to Madman Across the Water, with that and "Levon" being my two favorites from that album.

Long Train Running - The Doobie Brothers
Redbone!
Yay!
I just loved them as a teenager. My fave was and is always
Wounded Knee , which was banned by many US stations but a hit in Europe.
I recently bought a compilation album with their 70s output and I still think they're great!
I have a certain weakness for train songs maybe because I've always enjoyed train travel? Here's another one.
Long Train Running by The Doobie Brothers. Listening to it on the radio I always thought this song was called "Without Love"!

OK, I know they're not that popular around here, and you can disagree with me all you want, but here goes:
Fly By Night - Rush

Told ya I got something for trains.
Don't look now, FP, but here's another song that I've always loved:

No, but that was one of several unusual 45's my youngest brother had.
He also had "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" by Mac and Katie Kissoon (?), remember that one?
And I LOVE the Raspberries!
I may have posted "Let's Pretend" here a while back, don't remember.

Anything from 1978 will do for me... I'll go with Olivia Newton-John's "Hopelessly Devoted to You"
