Fave anothology part and least fave
mine is when they show them in consert and when Ringo sings act naturally
my least fave would be the part when Ringo got sick and jimmy nicol had to take place. I felt a sharp pain in my heart when it showed Paul, John George and Jimmy Nicol IN RINGO,S SUTE! PLAYING ON RINGO,S DRUMSET

Re: Fave anothology part and least fave
I have so many fav parts! I cant pick just one! But one of them is when they talk about In His Own Write and they show John reciting The Wrestling Dog and Norm comes in
I'm not sure if I have a least fav part. There's nothing that really sticks out in my mind right now. Of course I havent watched it in it's entirety for a long time so maybe I forgot something...

Re: Fave anothology part and least fave
I love the whole Anthology, but some of my favorite parts are the Ed Sullivan stuff (especially the TV appearance with 'All My Loving') and the consert stuff (for example Shea Stadium and other big arenas and the part when John asks "the people in the cheaper seats to clap their hands and the rest of them just to rattle their jewelry" ). Another favorite part of mine is when they return to Liverpool in 1964 and the whole city seems to be there to welcome the cityīs own heroes. That part always gets me goose bumps, I mean, think about how it must have been for them to finally come back to their hometown, where it all began, and to be greeted like that! It must have been huge! I just love that part!
Other parts, that I really love, are the videos for We Can Work It Out (Paul and John are sooo cute ), Day Tripper and Ticket to Ride.
I love the whole Anthology and canīt really name any part I donīt like, but the end always makes me kinda sad. The part where they all talk about the break-up and especially the part, where Ringo tries to express how he feels about it all ("four guys, who really loved each other... it was pretty sensational...") and you can see how touched he is saying that. Actually I like that part very much, but I always get kinda misty-eyed watching it. But I do not agree with what John says there at the end about it "just being a rock group, that split up, itīs nothing important". It was NOT just a rock group splitting up, it was a small catastrophe really! And not just ANY rock group either, it was THE rock group.
The part in the end, where they are in the field among the willow herbs during their last photo session and 'The End' is heard, is soooo sad, too! At that point I keep asking "why, oh why did they have to break up?". The greatest rock group ever...

Ashes: Do you mean Cathy?
I don't like that part either, she's too possessive and selfish.

Re: Fave anothology part and least fave
well, i havent actually SEEN the entire anthology. However, i have read it.
ONE OF my favorite parts (that i can remember offhand): THE DENTIST heehhee..."...and then, George's house seemed to be just like the big submarine i was driving...." "i was actually there in the club when John and George got there shouting, 'THE LIFT'S ON FIRE!'" hahahahaa that part is SO FUNNY (pg. 179)
my least favorite part: everyone HATING yoko

Re: Fave anothology part and least fave
Some of my fave parts aren't even about the music. For instance I like it when they're talking about All You Need Is Love and nobody is quite sure if John wrote it specifically for the TV show. It goes from George M. to George H. to Paul and back to George M., who rocks his chair and looks somewhat confused at the interviewer.
Or like when they're talking about the amount of fans at the first Shea show...after all of them name a number they go to Neil who says, "they told me it was 70,000!" or whatever.
I can't think of a least fave part right now..

Re: Fave anothology part and least fave
I've only seen the first 2 movies, but from what I saw my favourite part was when they were all goofing off on go carts, and in the hotel rooms. That part made me laugh a lot. The part I like the least is when they are interviewing that girl, I forget her name... well she is a member at the Cavern, and she's talking about how the Beatles were theirs, and how she wants them to come back when the rest of the world is done with them because they love them. I mean, that part makes me sad, because she and the rest of the liverpudlians loved them like the rest of the world once they became famous, but they knew them before hand. I feel sad for her, and I don't even know the half of it. Sure the Beatles make me happy listening to their music, but I was never round when they were, and to know them first hand is definatley a huge privelege.

Favorite part? The whole thing really.
One that sticks out for me would be when Paul,
Ringo and George are sitting outside and George
plays "I Will" on his ukelele.
I still remember the first time I saw Paul wink
and we saw 'free as a Bird" for the first time.
Least favorite? The end credits because I wanted
more!
After awhile you start to smile, then your in gear

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Those are exactly my favourite parts too. Especially We Can Work It Out. It's my favorite Beatles song as well, and video is so great. The Beatles have never looked better in that video Paul and John seem to be sharing looks that I find heart-warming and it's so funny to see them not being able to stop laughing. Especially at the end when Paul starts laughing real hard, he's so cute then...
Least favorite part? Hmmmmm...is such thing even possible on the Anthology dvd's?
