Paul sang "All My Loving" on Ed Sullivan when the Beatles first appeared on February 9, 1964.

Actually, I'm just trying to get a list of Beatles songs that Paul has NOT played live.
The Martha My Dear on that Cold Cuts album doesn't look like a live track. Can anybody confirm this?
This is the current list...
-------
All Together Now
Another Girl
Every Little Thing
Hold Me Tight
Honey Pie
Lovely Rita
Martha My Dear
Maxwell's Silver Hammer
The Night Before
Oh! Darling
Rocky Raccoon
Tell Me What You See
What You're Doing
When I'm Sixty-Four
Why Don't We Do it in the Road?
Wild Honey Pie
Your Mother Should Know

Excellent collection. Like almost everything that the Beatles did, it's not merely good, but groundbreaking. The harmonies are superb, the hits are unforgettable, and Paul contributes a frighteningly modern-sounding semi-acoustic number.

Do we WANT Paul to play Maxwell's Silver Hammer?

I still think it's crazy that he hasn't ever played some of these songs. I mean, stuff like Maxwell, Rocky, Honey Pie, Your Mother Should Know - they're just totally made for his live shows. If he can still sing Maybe I'm Amazed, then Oh Darling is a piece of cake. And why the hell didn't he play When I'm 64 when he was right at that age, that's a no-brainer.

Maybe he doesn't perform 64 for the same reason the Who hate My Generation. At any rate, this thread should be sticky'd at least for the duration of the upcoming tour. That list is getting pretty short.

I think that's a different thing. My Generation (which by the way they've diligently played every time I've seen them) was a huge huge hit, it's a must play. When I'm 64 was a novelty song, I couldn't imagine a more perfect song for him to play at his age. What makes more sense for a 64 year old man to play - I Saw Her Standing There, or When I'm 64?

He's also done "The Word", "Come and Get It", "Help", and "Strawberry Fields Forever"
However "Help", and "Strawberry Fields Forever" are both John songs, he did them as a tribute medley for him.
I know half these are John songs, but the topic does say Beatles songs performed live by Paul, not Paul's Beatle song performed live or something like that.

Good point. He's done others Beatles songs for sure. Something, A Day In The Life, and I seem to remember some kind of updated P.S. I Love You or something like that, probably many others.
But I guess I'm more interested in strictly McCartney penned and sung Beatles songs that he hasn't performed live.

Yes your thinking of the PS Love Me Do medley from the late 80's Flowers Tour.

Not exactly Paul's greatest live moment.

Yeah I would of been happy to hear "PS I Love You" or "Love Me Do" as single songs done live.

I would have LOVED to hear "Things We Said Today" (which he performed live with the Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl the summer of 1964) and "Blackbird," which he has done at many of his other concerts.

"Things We Said Today" has been performed by Paul a number of times.

When/where ?????????????
P.S.: Along with those John songs, he's also sung "Something" and "While my guitar gently weeps", "For you blue"

I doubt Paul has done "Love Me Do" at any of his post-Beatles concerts.

He's done "PS Love Me Do", but no he hasn't done "Love Me Do", we know Ringo did it in 1998, and his version is really good.
