Things are getting better for me as time goes on
Pretty soon I'll be going back to college. It starts on the 24th this month and I'm very excited to go back. I'm excited considering this year will be the first time that I go back to school while I'm on a medication for my ADD. The medication I'm now on is called Adderall, and it has helped me a lot. It has helped me focus, concentrate, communicate, understand, remember, relax, and to think more clearly instead of having so many thoughts in my head all at once without me being able to control them at all , a lot more. I even feel good about myself for once in my life, and I'm thrilled to be able to finally have the confidence that I need in order to get things that I need to do done. I'm even able to stand up for myself, which I pretty much had a hard time being able to do for the longest time, up til recently. It was because I couldn't get the words to come out right, and that alone became frustraighting. Now it isn't that hard at all to get the words out! Of course I will always have ADD, but with a little medical help, my symptoms aren't as bad as they were before. I also feel people shouldn't ditch medications because some people depend on them considering alternatives don't seem to work for them. Everyones different, and I'm just so glad that I did something for myself to make things better. It's not only for my school work to graduate next year, it's for me in regards to everyday life. I just wish I had known about this medication awhile back, however it's the latest one out there for ADD.

Adderall...where have I heard that before? They use it to treat ADD, but do they use it for OCD? Well that doesn't matter, what does matter is that you're doing great. That's great to hear, and wonderful that it's working for you. Not just the medicine, but life in general. I hope this year at college is great for you. What are you studying?

What's OCD? Oh and by the way, I'm studying to become a future teachers assistant to help young kids with learning disabilities considering I too am learning disabled, which would help the kids since I could relate to them and understand what they are going threw, and I also happen to love kids. I think kids need someone that can relate to them to help teach them the ways of the world and life itself.

OCD is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. (I figured it out about the medication. It's Anafranil that they use for OCD, Adderall is what Tom Cruise was talking about on television. I just felt you'd sleep better knowing that I figured it all out...I know...I'm strange...)
You're right about the kids though, they do need someone to relate to. It helps them out a lot. I suppose it's the same for adults, as well. Seems like the perfect career choice for you.

Hi Naomi! Oh, I am so happy to hear that things are going better for you! It's tough having to go through the trial and error process to find something that will work for you, and I'm so glad that you finally have! That's great news. I'm very happy for you, and congratulations on being able to now progress through life like never before! A big happy celebratory *hug* for you, and, these little guys, too:
