Before filling it out, I was just wondering if 'John' songs had to be only written by him, or could they be Lennon/McCartney?

Sure, they can be whatever songs you associate with being "mostly/mainly John" in the Lennon/McCartney cannon. I forgot to say that you can answer with John or Beatle John songs for any of the questions, unless they specifically say otherwise.

I've been a Beatles fan since 5th grade, but I started off as a Paul fan first.... My liking gradually changed to John; I can't exactly pinpoint the exact moment. It was the same year, though

1. 10 years, since I was 8.
2. He is my NUMBER ONE favorite. John is my hero.

5. John always looked amazing to me, but 1965-1966...
6. Yes, I do own Lennon Anthology, and I love it all, but highlights are: I'm Losing You, Isolation, Be My Baby, Goodnight Vienna/I'm the Greatest, Love, Come Together.
7. 5 albums are basically all of John's solo career, but: Plastic Ono Band, Imagine, Double Fantast, Milk and Honey, Walls and Bridges.
8. Hmm...Imagine, perhaps? Maybe In My Life or Working Class Hero? I don't know, all of John's songs are beautiful lyrically. He was a poet.

i have loved joh since 1964, and he is the cutest from 64 to 67 and 75 to 80 he has so much greta music as a beatle in my life, revolution, and no reply.as a solo mind games, imagine and happy christmas and yes the anthology is very good. he is cute in glasses especially sunglasses and i love his antics.

Oh absolutely he's in my list. Man, he's toppling over practically everyone else, really.

Sheesh! Ok, number 1 is definitely Mother. But the other two are far too difficult. I'm going to go with Oh My Love and Happiness Is a Warm Gun, respectively, for now.

I honestly believe he looked handsome, for the most part, every year of his life. However, I would probably say his "meatier" years suited him better. So I'm going with 1964-1966. He's still a handsome guy later on, but he appeals to me more with some meat on his bones.

Yes I do!! Psshh! I won't even go there.

I love it! I respect them more for it, because they were willing to be brave, to be the "world's fools", to stand up for what they believed in. They cared enough, and that's what touches me.

There are times I absolutely love her. Then I see the side of all those who aren't crazy about her, read things that I don't really agree with about her, and I kind of feel a little distant. But I still love her no matter, and I like a lot of her music. No way does my opinion of her effect my opinion of John. That was his partner, his love, but she wasn't him.

- I really love John while he was younger... In leather ~drools~ And as a Beatle but I enjoy the whole package!

- No.

- Uhm... 2005 or 2007?
22. What is your opinion of the protest stuff that John and Yoko did?
- I think it was great! He got out and done what he wanted, he tried changing the world. He stood up for what he believed in, I love that about him!
23. What is your opinion of Yoko, and does that opinion effect your opinion of John?
- At the moment, my opinion as to liking her or disliking her is nuetral. There was a time that I truly disliked her and then I realized that I didn't know her to dislike her so much and I wanted to know what John saw in her, boom one day it happened. Then I read stuff about her that I didn't like, however, I do not know who personally so who am I to judge? It may be true or it may be someone trying to make money. So now I would have to remain nuetral until I know what type of person she really is.

- Him as a Beatle but also his inner peace.

- John! Oh I love him so much! I feel like I know him! ~caugh~ What am I talking about? I do know him, in my dreams... No really, I've met him a lot in my dreams. LOL I argued with him in one... I think it was over something really stupid.

30. What makes John so special to you?
- I can relate to his songs, that is one of the most important things because if you didn't relate to the music, it is almost pointless to you. His music has changed me almost completely. Before, I never really thought about peace, love, happiness or any of that. The message he was trying to send to the world, I got it and it has changed me. John is my hero. His views on life has also changed me. I used to be very close minded as to new music, views on life, what was to be believed... Now I love listening to what people have to say and looking at their point of view, not only mine. And as far as religion and politicians go. I also have more confidence in myself, I have a higher self esteem. He has changed my life almost completely and I thank him for it. John is one of the most important people in my life. No body has had such a huge impact on me ever before. He is the best thing I ever had. He's also influenced me to play the guitar, write my own music, TRY to sing (haha, Yoko), (this may be unfortunate) but try pot, to speak my mind, to be what I want to be- not what others want me to be, not to change my ways for another person or be like another person except myself, to love, my inner peace, he has done so much more than just this. He holds a very special place in my heart. I love him more than anything. He is like a really good friend, husband, boyfriend, guardian angel, person, musician, composer, Beatle, solo artist, singer, and much much more! I LOVE YOU JOHN!!! YOU'RE MY EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
