All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of you will have seen the Brainwashed video.
THIS WILL THRILL YOU ALL.
A video about the re-release of All Things Must Pass.
It is quite the same as the Brainwashed video, it has George in his garden outfit and George in his studio (what's it called again can't remember...) telling stories about the re-making of the album.
I just downloaded it and it is fantastic, but I want you all to see it so after having seen 3 minutes, and the adrenaline flowing around in me, just want to post this.
I saw George in Friar Park, in his studio playing stuff from the re-make, see him playing the added slide solo's in My Sweet Lord .....more to come my friends.
http://personales.ciudad.com.ar/pors...tles/Video.htm
It is called All Things Must Pass EPK.
Enjoy it, I will write more later.

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I now see it is also at WinMX, for those who have trouble downloading it from that website, but now I look it has 147 in queue.
OK what does it show in 12.55 minutes;
- George in Friar Park with the gnomes trying to get the right picture
- in the studio and you hear the George O'Hara Smith Singers doing the chorus of Awaiting On You All
- talking about the re-release
- an interview in the gardens "No matter what you do it sounds immediately like George Harrison"
- about "which was the first track recorded"
- "when you got the tapes back out here, what did you think" -> God, too much echo
- the extra tracks, being not even demo's as George tells
- the lyrics of the title song
- Let It Down, "if I could I'd reduce the sudio sound on it"
- see him doing additional vocals for My Sweet Lord
- a picture of Roy in the studio
- playing one of the added slide solo's to My Sweet Lord
- "when we did this end bit we went back to the Cavern to get the Live atmosphere" on My Sweet Lord, but joking prabably cause he also sais "or was it the Shea Stadium"
he does look very tired here although he quickly seems to laugh so one would not notice
- doing the title song amongst what you see on the cover of the album sleeve
- talking about life "now I understand about 90 year old people who feel like teenagers" "the soul is there at birth and is there at death and the only thing that's changed is the bodily condition"
- the ATMP website on "What Is Life"
- 3 clips from "The Concert For Bangla Desh" i.e. the first three songs
A Fantastic video.

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can add me to the list of people who could not get this to work!
I was however able to download it, just couldn't play it. When I tried to play it in Windows Media I got the message that the "system could not be supported". I guess you need Real Player or something else to view it?
But thanks FPSHOT for the link and the information on it!
I think I got a shortened version of this video once on another website but couldn't play it either but I did get Audio. And what I heard was lovely!

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, I GOT IT!!!
It's fantastic!
I can so agree with George on this one:
talking about life "now I understand about 90 year old people who feel like teenagers" "the soul is there at birth and is there at death and the only thing that's changed is the bodily condition"
At the end three clips from The Concert For Bangla Desh. O, how I would love to have that on dvd!!

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for that link, SingingOm!
I just tried it but could again only get Audio. Oh, well! At least I got to hear all of it this time!
Loved that beginning bit where George? says " It's not exactly an EPK but it is a threat to world order as we know it!"

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, thank you so, so much! It worked for me!!
My favorite part is when George says the part about going back to the Cavern, and the fellow says it's great...George says, "Yeah?" The expression on his face is precious.
The guitar solo for My Sweet Lord 2000 is wonderful, to see him play it. And his little George dance when doing the vocals for the song, just like from the Beatles concerts, same little dance.

I love the 'Ripping Yarns' T-shirt on the George cut-out! Another reference to Golden Gordon!

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is indeed brilliant, im quite familair with it!! i cant believe it took some people here so long to see it!! (FPSHOT and HC, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!) I first saw it around May 2001, at Rolling Stone.com, and have put a link up here later in 2001, and talked about ALL THE TIME!!!! (does anyone ever listen to Yogi?? tsk tsk...)It is my favourite video ever! and yes they took some of the unused footage and used it for the Brainwashed EPK..i am even lucky enough to have the ATMP EPK on video!! I got it about 9 months ago from Hello Goodbye, with the extended Vh1 performance (Any Road, If u belonged to me, uncut ATMP etc..) its even better on your tv screen..my fave bit: "Its not Exactly an EPK..but it IS a threat to world order as we know it!.." So true!!
Bye!

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">I have the video too, and your right Maharishi, it does look better, and the quality is great. There's also the added animated piece at the begining which I don't think you get on the RollingStone.com version.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">So Yogi, you knew about this since May 2001 and waited till November 2001 to get registered? Thanks a lot.
But you're right, I have thought about that since I saw it now some days ago. Why the **** do I see this so late.

Re: All Things Must Pass EPK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
... and amazing that I have not seen any link about the similar footage, clothes, places of filming, time of filming, when the Brainwashed EPK came out.
