The good old days.

I remember and miss when this forum was active.
I remember such members as snoopy66 and Applescruff
(There's more but those two are the ones I talked with the most). Miss discussing many topics both Beatle and non Beatles related. Killing time in the arcade.It was interesting to interact with people from around the world. Threads such as ^<v allowed us to learn a bit about each other. Perhaps there were times I came off as annoying to some in those days. I don't really know what else to say, I just miss this place. This will likely end up being un-seen it's still something I wanted to say. If it is seen, new or old. How are you, look around maybe revive this place.

Back in my day, there was no Arcade. That means I left centuries ago lol

Yeah! it's no longer the same, but as George says, "all things must pass; all things must pass away."

Not to get all maudlin on you, but, yeah, this place was great in it's heyday. Still lots of news and things to discuss, seems sad that it's gone by the wayside. The Abbey Road anniversary issue was fantastic and I look to 2020 and the LIB reissue!

I wonder why it went down and how. Did this happen gradually? The mods and admins are nowhere to be found too.

Realize this is my point of view and I'm sure I don't have all the facts.
It seemed towards the end there was a lot of squabbling and fighting between members. I do remember that some of the longer term players here got fed up and left. I do guess that seems a logical ending. Also. factor in life and all the different roads it can lead you on. What we're left with is the shell of what remains. Still a good resource site, but far from the bustling place it was around the reissue time of 2009 and before.
The results of this site hasn't diminished my love of the Fabs one bit. Only curtailed whom I can share that love with.

I remember being on this site a lot. I'm here now to reminisce.... I think some gravitated to Facebook and Instagram and Twitter to interact with other Beatles Fans.

Last time I was in was in 2016! I popped in for a visit. Very strange trying to remember how it all works hahaha!

I think Facebook took people away from Links. Too bad. It was usually a good time.
