Why are you a fan of John mainly

What is the main thing that you like and why you are a fan. Let's try to be honest.
So this is about why you're a fan now, it can be that you fell for John's look, but then started to listen to his music and find that is why you're a fan nowadays, so that's the option you choose.Ofcourse it can be a combination of things, but what is the main thing for you.

I can honestly say, that it was the music and words first. I loved imagine and bought John Lennon Collection. I started liking more and more songs on that album, till I loved them all. Then his personality and political views made me a really dedicated fan.

I said music and words first...the other stuff came later. Before I really knew what he looked like, I knew what he SOUNDED like, and I loved it! The fact that the intelligence (also a really big high point for me -- brains are sexy!) charm and wit happened to be housed in a very attractive package didn't hurt, but that was not the first thing that made me a fan.

I should point out that it was hard to choose between "music and words" and "who he is" because those are so closely intertwined in my mind...

I'm not a John-fan, but what I like about John now most are his lyrics.

I chose "who he is." I was originally drawn to John because he was a writer and had such a fascinating personality. Getting to know him on the inside made me appreciate his outside, so to speak.

This is dificult I admit. Just like with George I feel that had John not been the person who he is, he couldn't have writen these personal lyrics and politicial songs. I can relate to John's lyrics the most, and the style. And the music got me started, that and his lyrics is what makes me buy the albums.So while as with George it's a combination, it comes down to the music and words.
