Most 50's/60's musicals
James Bond movies

The Scream Trilogy are my absolute favourite movies. I am a horror movie nut so I don't mind the slasher flicks at all. I also like Dead Poet's Society and Good Will Hunting, films like that with a great storyline. If I had to choose just one film though, out of all the genres, it would be Shawshank Redemption. Anyone who hasn't seen that, it's a must. Truly a wonderful story, with characters you'll never forget. That was just an absolutely brilliant piece of cinema.

i am such a wimp - i can't watch scary movies... the one (and only) "horror" film i've seen is scream 2, and even though they were supposed to be "spoofs" - i had nightmares for weeks.

You're not alone, Allie. Scary movies give me horrible nightmares. I haven't seen one for over 20 years. I think my imagination must work overtime or something during those types of movies.

Woh, I recommend you and Lynner watch "Scary Movie" - another one of my favourites - you'll laugh yourself senseless at this spoof and maybe it'll make watching 'real' horror movies a little easier for you!

"scary movie"? that sounds - well - scary! if anything jumps out at you, slashes anything else, wears a warped mask, etc. there's no way i could sit through it! i watched "what lies beneath" with a group of friends... they told me that it wasn't a scary movie - just sort of trippy. i believed them - and spent literally 90% of the movie with my face in a pillow. what can i say? i admit it... i'm a wimp when it comes to that stuff.

Noooo... believe me, this one ain't scary a bit - it's a clasic comedy! Scary Movie 2 is on its way also I hear, but really, you gotta see this one! It completely spoofs all the well-known horror movies, I about died laughing at some of the scenes! No scary stuff at all here, a pure comedy as I said.

Horror movies are my FAVORITE movies! Scream was alright, but too mocking to really be "scary." I like stuff like The Shining and The Exorcist. OH yeah!

The director's cut? I only saw the original but with a little bit extra footage, like of the girl going down backwards down the stairs. Man, that movie was FREAKY.
