Liverpool Musicians
Hi there, I'm one of the Liverpool Beatle Tour Guides, and to celebrate Liverpool being Pop music capital of the World & European Capital of Culture, I'm working on setting up tours based on bands & musicians OTHER than The Beatles. To do this though I need to know the impact they had on the rest of the World so I'd be made up if you'd complete this survey.... http://multivote.sparklit.com/web_poll.spark/4142
Can I be nasty and ban any Brits?? We really need to know the impact outside of our own country!
Cheers everyone,
Jackie

Re: Liverpool Musicians
That is some impressive list you made there. From some of the bands or artists I know I had no idea they were from Liverpool.
I will fill it in for yah.
Yes, from what I know/read, Badfinger is originally a Welsh band The Ivey's, the original set up were also a backing band for (Dear Mrs. Applebee) David Garrick and Tom Evans replaced David Jenkins.

Oh I sure know The Real Thing
Oh you to me are everything
The sweetest song that I could sing
Oh baby
Oh baby
To you I guess I'm just a clown
Who picks you up each time you're down
Oh baby
Oh baby
You give me just a taste of love
To build my hopes upon.
You know you've got the power girl
To keep me holding on.
So now you've got the best of me
Come on and take the rest of me
Oh baby
Great song...
I was actually waiting for our tour guide to update the site

It means "i would be very happy"
you have it right Beatlelover
It`s a good old Liverpool saying
Another is "I would be chuffed" or "It would be sound"
It`s The Real Thing Man
