Introduction and question
Hello, I'm new here and needless to say, I've been a Fab Four fan for as long as I can remember. I'm really interested in finding some authentic Beatles clothing. I found this Shea Jacket and was wondering if anyone had seen one in person and can verify its accuracy. Also, is there any other place where one can get authentic clothing like the Beatles wore, possibly by the original makers? This may be a tough question to answer, but any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
BDJ

Welcome to Beatlelinks, BDJ!
In answer to your question, there's a firm making replica Shea jackets, and if you've found one that isn't in a museum someplace, it's probably not authentic as in REAL. That website is for the company that makes the replicas -- I've seen them for sale at Beatlefest. As far as I know, the Hard Rock Vault owns the actual Shea jackets. Those are totally accurate replicas, though.

Welcome to Beatlelinks, BDJ! A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The jacket at that site is an exact replica of the ones the Beatles wore. The only thing missing on them is the badge each one wore.

Re: Introduction and question
Hi, I hope someone out there can help in my question. In 1991 this radio station was doing a promotion for the 25th anniversary of the Beatles last concert at Candlestick park.
There was going to be a give away to the first 50 people, a lithograph poster signed and numbered by Jim Marshall. (he photographed the Beatles last concert)
The poster has five photos one large and 4 smaller ones of the Beatles and says KYA Presents the last Beatles Concert it has the date and also says 1966-1991. On the bottom it says KSFO-KYA (KYA has since gone off the air) There were only 500 singed by Jim. I actually ended up with Two lithographs, the DJ Steve Garland was a personal friend. The lithograph I have is number 5/500.
I sold one 2 week later to a Beatles collector for $35.00. I've since done research on this poster and couldn't find anything. I was wondering maybe someone out there has heard of this item or has one and may know what kinda vaule if it has, if any?
