Peace and Love
I love Ringo but isn't the Peace and Love thing getting boring now? Has it contributed to world peace?
I always associate John with Peace more because of his active involvement with his various Peace projects. Am I being harsh here?

A lot of Beatles fans don't realize that this is actually the result of an out-of-court settlement with Courtney Love. Apparently Ringo had plagiarized the then-unreleased Nirvana song "You Know You're Right" to include on his Vertical Man album in 1998. Love sued him, and one of the conditions of the deal they made is that he is legally required to reference her every ten minutes. In order to make it sound organic, he adopted the "Peace and Love" catchphrase. It's actually extremely passive-aggressive on his part.

Very clever Rama. A very little known fact from the Starr file. lol.
As for Ringo's penchant for Peace and Love.... it's really pretty harmless and inoffensive. It's nice to hear some positivity with all the negativity that surrounds us. JMO.

Thanks Ringo rama. Perhaps there's also a marketing opportunity here. He could bring out his own brand of peas. "Peas and love"

Ringo likes Peace and Love but hasn't contributed towards it.

I think it's sweet.
I mean, Paul has his thumbs up and Ringo has his peace and love. Part of the charm is the predictability of it all. If either of them gave it up, it'd be sort of tragic.

It's not causing any harm and it is nice to have a positive reminder. And who knows? Maybe it has helped a tiny bit with world peace.

I guess it's better than his catchphrase in the late 70s, "Me want cocaine!"

Well for the past week I have been actively saying "Peace and Love" as often as possible and to people I meet in my local area. I can report that crime figures show a significant decline in my neighbourhood. Robberies are down by of 0.9%. larceny is down by 0.5% and general cussing in the street has been virtually eradicated. The general mood on the local populace seems good and I even saw people being kind to small creatures.

That's wonderful. After all, Ringo said it himself that nothing is Beatle proof!
I wonder if Ringo liked dogs.
