All Starr Band Comings & Goings
1. Mark Hudson will not be touring with Ringo this time around. He will be replaced by Hamish Stewart. Hamish, as we all know, is a former member of Sir Pauls band and The Average White Band.
2. Also Mark Rivera will not be touring with Ringo. He will be touring with Billy Joel.

I just saw Billy Joel a few days ago, and I thought I recognized that Mark Rivera dude. When I saw Ringo a few summers back, he was definitely a highlight of the show. He played every instrument up there, and he played them all very well. A good sax solo really makes a difference, Ringo is gonna miss him.

Seriously? Then I'm kind of glad I didn't get any decent tickets and decided not to go.

Hey there, of course I remember you. Yep, still work in Gardena, how have you been? I think I'll catch Ringo this time around, either in Vegas or out here. A Beatle's a Beatle, we don't know how much longer we'll have to see one in concert.

Next is "Abbey Road on the River" at the end of May in Louisville,Kentucky.
Then Ringo at the Gibson Theatre, and finally the Chicago b-fest...
Take care Jerry...

Mark Hudson is pretty busy these days:
"In the UK he was recruited by Sharon Osbourne onto her team as vocal coach for the TV show "X-Factor" . This show is similar in content to "American Idol". Known as "Weird Beard" for his colourful facial hair and dress, he coached all the under 25's in the first series and the over 25's in the second.
March 5th 2006 saw his first No1 in the UK Top 40 singles chart - an original song he had written for Chico Slimani - X Factor contestant. Called "Chico Time", it displaced Madonna from the top of the chart and also prevented the Pussy Cat Dolls from reaching Nol! It has sold over 100,000 copies in the UK."

Oh no, Mark didn't write that did he? Avoid it at all costs if you want your ears intact, guys - it's in a similar vein to the 'Cheeky Song' from a few years ago. Sorry Mark, but I know you can do better than that!

I'm going to see Ringo too. I got the tickets for the Universal Amphitheater in June. I've only seen Ringo in person, but never heard him play live. That will make it 3/4 of the Beatles I've seen play. I'll take it.
