How many movies/tv shows can you think of that have something to do with The Beatles
time to close the other topic and open a new one, it was over 20 pages. Carry on!

In the MST3K movie "The Creeping Terror, there is a scene with rocky mountains and Crow begins to sing "Rocky Raccoon".

Well Stephen Colbert made 2 Beatle references recently. In one he was calling someone a 5th Beatle (about somebody who really didnt have anything to with them) I think it went "whom I'll always remember as the 5th Beatle" and another where he said "The only way to make money in today's economy is to divorce Paul McCartney"

The Flintstones' 1965 episode, "Shinrock" (spoof of Shindig) had some Beatle haircut bands and spoofed on the Beatles.
The Beau Brummels, whom I never liked were satirized as "The Beau Brummelstones" (really original there) and another 1965 episode was about the 4 Insects, definitely a Beatle spoof. They sang, "She said yeah, yeah, yeah" and everybody in the show wore a Beatle wig or, a few minor characters had Beatle coiffure. The 4 Insects were playing at the World's Fair (next door to Shea Stadium).
You just can't dodge that Beatle influence!

Yep, that episode was called The Hatrocks and the Grusomes. The Flintstones were trying to get rid of the Hatrocks who had overstayed their welcome as houseguests and enlisted the help of the Grusomes (who were themselves spoofs of fams like the Addams Family and the Munsters). The Hatrocks were hillbillies from Arkanstone who hated 'bug music' and so the Flintstones and Grusomes sang songs by the 4 insects to get rid of them. Yeah....i'm a little bit of a Flintstone nerd.

There was an episode of Law and Order Criminal Intent, where this one graphic designer killed his collaborator's girlfriend because he was jealous of all the time they were spending together. And the main detective made a comparrison to John Paul and Yoko. It made me happy

Another mention in Timon & Pumbaa. They're in this Western town trying to pose as outlaws to this gang who is missing their leader for some reason. They quiz Timon & Pumbaa on their leader's interests to prove whether or not they are who they say they are. Examples include "Paper? Or Plastic?" "Timon? or Pumbaa?" Well at one point they ask "The Beatles? Or Elvis?"

Family Guy's "Ready, Willing & Disabled" had Stewie saying "what he did to John Lennon," and showed John and Yoko meeting one another.

Okay so it wasnt a tv show but it was on TV. During the closing ceremony of the Olympics they had 2 chinese kids who were drumming and the commentators said the one kid had a Ringo Starr haircut and perhaps it was an allusion to passing the torch to Britain since the Beatles were from England.
I couldnt get a good look at it from the angles they were shooting at but I highly doubt that was the point of this kid's haircut. Whatever! It was still amusing to hear from someone like Bob Costas, lol!

There is a show with an episode entitled "You Say It's Your Birthday," but I cannot think of which show. There is a show entitled "Dear Prudence." You just can't dodge that Beatle influence, yeah, yeah, yeah!

The movie Ghost Town features the song "I'm Looking Through You." I saw a commercial for it the other day.

Yeah the trailer does. Doesnt mean it'll be in the movie though. I remember a trailer for this movie where Tom Hanks has to live in an airport (cant remember the name) that had "End of the Line" in it, but it wasnt in the actual movie.

The Wiggles (hope most people know who they are??) released a new dance DVD last year, sorry but can't remember what it's called. The guys all have Beatle wigs and wear Beatle "suits" (the collarless suits). Each Beatle suit is in the colour which each Wiggle wears eg. Anthony the blue Wiggle wears a blue Beatles suit, Murray the red Wiggle wears a red suit and so on.
It's amazing to think that a band from the 1960's can still influence a new generation 40 years later. Even if that generation is currently 2 to 6 years old!!

I can't remember if I've heard that, but it wouldn't surprise me. They have millions of fans around the world, sell heaps and albums DVD's etc and currently the highest earning entertainers in Australia. Concert tickets sell out in minutes. Sounds familiar doesn't it??
Does anyone remember the first Sister Act starring Whoopi Goldberg. At the start of the movie, young Delores is in school and the class is asked by their nun teacher, "Who can name all the disciples?" She puts her hand up and says,"John, Paul, George and Ringo." Then she is ordered to write the disciples names on the board and she writes: John, Paul, George, Ringo. Love it.

Beverly Hills 90210 had an episode titled "Hello, Goodbye" and another titled "Baby, You Can Drive My Car." Guess old Aaron was a Paul fan.
