Default McCartney 'Deluxe Edition's Idea...

12 years on from the McCartney collection series, and with the much romoured 'Cold Cuts / Wingspan' box set still unreleased, I've had what I think is a great idea for a McCartney reissue campaign:

All the McCartney and Wings albums, including live sets, from 'McCartney' to 'Back in the US / Back in the World'

* Deluxe edition 2 CD sets

* Packaged in gatefold sleeves

* Digitally remastered hybrid SACD's (or DVDA) with 5.1 surround sound

* For the studio albums: 1st CD containing the digitally remastered original album

* 2nd CD containing unreleased tracks / alternate takes / rare tracks that fit with the original period of the album

*Deluxe booklets with previously unpublished photos, interviews with Paul and musicians who worked on the album

What do you think?

*Deluxe booklets with previously unpublished

All Singles and Maxi Singles Tracks from 1970-2005

Live from Wings ecetera

* Digitally remastered hybrid SACD's (or DVDA) with 5.1 surround sound

Surely not alone the devices are expensive

If they are HYBRID SACD's, they are compatible with CD players

They would have to make them hybrids, because the market would demand it. There are far more hybrid SACD's than SACD's that are not CD compatible.

Great idea...but I'd like a DVD video collection better.

Hi Hi Hi (inst. music in the background of the 1972 radio ad for the same song)
Luxi (a song recorded especially for Luxemburg radio in 1973 consisting of titles from the BOTR album being sung)
Sitting At The Piano (a made up piano song in the 1974 film One Hand Clapping)
Baby Face (a live cover song with Tuxedo Jazz Band in New Orleans 1975)
Mother's Pride (a 60 second song Paul wrote for a bread commercial in 1974)
Fairy Tale (a made up song for his kids in 1977)
Standing Very Still (could be same as Fairy Tale)
Running Round The Room (could be same as Fairy Tale)
Suffragette (a speculated unreleased song from 1973 that just might be "Jet")
Ranachan Rock (a jam with Wings in 1979)
SMA (a spur of the moment 'punk' song done around 1978 with Heather shouting off the words from a can of baby food with Paul supplying the music)
Good Morning Policeman (this is the song Paul wrote while in a japanese prison in Jan.1980. I don't know if he ever recorded it)
Skeletons (this is probably "Ballad of The Skeletons" released in 1996)
Etcetera (a song Paul recorded in 1968 but never released)
Heather (a little tune Paul wrote in 1969 but never recorded)

I would LOVE a delux edition of Wild Life with a second disc of live stuff from the first Wings college tour.
