I couldn't listen to Double Fantasy for years just because of all the tragedy that comes w it. And I'm being hard on Yoko in this instance as her songs are really quite good. Largely due in part to the incredible band that Jack Douglas assembled for the sessions. Wow. In fact if Walking on Thin Ice had been on DF, it would have been one of my favorite songs on the album. That is John w some pretty progressive guitar playing. I actually listened to the White Album Unplugged attentively this wknd. And what I surmised from what I was hearing is that John was a fantastic and instinctive guitarist.

Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread and I needed to retract my undue criticism towards Yoko's contributions to DF.

It was at Comic Con. There's this Star Trek band called Five Year Mission. I downloaded some of their songs but wanted hard copies, so I bought their two albums, Year 1 and Year 2

Well if we're talking strictly LPs, I bought Mumford and Sons "Sigh No More," on Friday, but I also bought Paul's albums Chaos and Creation in the Backyard and Memory Almost Full, but I haven't listened to them yet :P

'The legendary Bobby Darin'. I simply cannot take it out of the discman.

Two of Paul's best albums. If you haven't got "Electric Arguments" already, I recommend that one as well.

I only have "Babel" by Mumford and Sons downloaded from iTunes. Just a few songs on there that I like, mostly the well known ones, so I am not sure about getting another album by them.

Latest cd I bought
"Spirits of the Western Sky" - Justin Hayward.
Not as good as his previous solo album, but classic stuff nonetheless.

Sigh No More is a stronger album than Babel.

The Star Trek Into Darkness soundtrack. I think I might like it better than the Star Trek 2009 one

I could not believe when I found a 1977 first edition of Bollocks on very clean vinyl. The sleeve is in almost mint condition as well. The price was reasonable too, under $20.00. In the same store I found the Steppenwolf LP as well. Again it's in very good condition, with all the inserts.

GO completes my Pat Benatar collection. The greatest hits live from King Biscuit is one of things that are outside of the artists catalog that is just neat to have.
