Default Pub in trouble over Beatles’ lyrics

The complaint has to be more about excessive noise rather than inappropriate song lyrics. Considering the song lyrics of some rap or hip hop songs today, I think Beatle lyrics are quite tame.

I'm not sure. It looks as though you and Paulrus posted at the same time, but perhaps the editing made your post seem to be the older one. We could ask Jerry....

Which song lyrics were being objected to by this person?

Well you know those racy lyrics like "And when I touch you I feel happy inside".

Gotta think of the children.

You've got to be kidding. What song could possibly be that offensive? Maybe in the 60's one or two of their lyrics could have been a little controversial (I'm thinking "Christ you know it ain't easy" or something along those lines), but nowadays... they all sounds perfectly decent to me.

I can't find anything offensive in any Beatle song either. Perhaps the prude in question was complaing about the "fish and finger pie" in Penny Lane? And just to DANCE with you, OH, OH might be considered a tad racy by some. Paul sings of "making love to only you" in "HMT." In 1967 George sings, "I'll make love to you, if you want me to." Perhaps that was a tad too explicit for the prude or prudes in question?

And who in the blue hell would want to sit in a "Beatle free zone?" I would think the Beatles would drum up business!

My God, people are really petty !!

I mean come on seriously have they heard some of the rubbish that rappers and R&B people come out with ??? ( no offence to anybody here who likes rap and R&B :D ) Like 10 times worse than that.

At least they said "make love" instead of using a crude word.

SAY NO! TO BEATLE FREE ZONE !!!

silly silly peety people
