I vote we forget this lot and just watch YELLOW SUBMARINE.

No disrespect to anyone, but every time I run across an old King Features Syndicate cartoon and try and watch it, I cringe. This was probably some of the worst animation any living person was subjected to a portrail through, excepting MC Hammer's one-season show HAMMER back in the early 90s. The standards the show championed and ran with made possible some of the worst stuff that came soon after from Hanna Barbera and Filmation.

It's probably heretical to bemoan a Beatles product here, but as an animation fan I can't rally behind this, sorry.

I like the cartoon version of George and Paul, but John's and Ringo's aren't as good, imo. John looks too fat and Ringo too dumb. I can't believe they portrayed Ringo in that light! I know it's just a cartoon, but my God! He really was duh- stupid in that - especially during those little intermission things in between cartoons.

As you all well know (or at least could probably guess... ) I'm a Paul fan, however I voted for the cartoon version of Ringo. He looks so cute IMO. A bit dopey, but cute.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Sure, it was bad, but we should keep in mind that they were working on a very small budget with ridiculous time constraints. I'm sure, given more time and resources, the animators would have accomplished something much better, but they had to get them produced ASAP to capitalize on Beatlemania. And I believe this was the very first cartoon to be based on real people, so it was a pioneer in that respect. Another entertainment "first" for the Beatles.

What really makes ME cringe are the voices. John & George's voices (both voiced by the same guy, by the way) are absolutely HORRID! Ringo's & Paul's aren't as bad - at least they seem to fit the characters, if not the actual Beatles.

It seems like each character has as exaggerated facial feature...Ringo's nose, Paul's eyes, George's chin, and John's, uh...face. My vote went to Paul, because I think his character had the best blend of voice and image. George is my favorite Beatle, but I just can't get past that voice!

I love all of them in those cartoons! But I would have to go with john mainly cuz he's my favorite all round, cartoon or real. I love drawing pictures of the beatles in cartoon form. It's quite fun

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Yes, the Cartoon Beatles did had a weird look. I didn't like George's chin! It's too sharp! And his accent! The "Real" Geo's accent is better!

I voted for Paul, just because Paul's my favorite. I've actually never seen the cartoons, I wish they would release them.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Yes, with enough time, I'm sure they could have done a better job. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that I read somewhere that the majority of these animators were used on the "Yellow Submarine" movie. So time does make a difference.
