Default Arctic Monkeys "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?"

Heck yes! I think John would try to stay hip with the times, but also loyal to his roots...so why not a hip band with great lyrics from his home country?

This is the band that opened up for GOASTT. I think John probably would've dug 'em. (Sean sure does!)

I'd have to say John would have loved The Talking Heads after all Radiohead did name themselves after a Talking heads song.

Talking Heads released a couple albums in the 70s, and they were New York-based, so he had to have been familiar with them...and we know that he was impressed with McCartney II, which has some traces of the Heads in it. Anyone know if John ever commented on Talking Heads anywhere?

I looked and couldn't find anything, but I have a sinking feeling he would have loved their 1970s stuff.

The Rutles, like I have on my iTunes. Bet he'd even have Macca's greatest hits on there.

Gotta love Macs.
