Can I make an obscure choice for best hair? John, circa "How I Won the War". I'm all for the mop-top shaggy look, but there was something irresistable about the short bed-head thing goin' on in that film...He was sooooo adorable there. I wish his role had been bigger Also, his hair in "A Hard Days Night" was great, because it looked like the hairstylist had teased it a bit at the crown, lol.

Speaking of irresistable, George Harrison's long locks certainly lighted many a fire! Damn, that man was blessed with thick, rich, lustrous, beautiful wavy hair! Just look at the undulating waves, ripping throughouth that magnificent mane...it grew so long so fast. George looked best with the sexy fringe - made him look more intense, I think. Just take a look at the sexy, lean, ascetic wavy haired wonder on Rubber Soul...that long, brown crown is enough to make many a hair lover look his way! That crowning glory was indeed remarkable...I love the pictures of George when you can actually see the S-waves in that wavy hair!

Check out George in the late 1980's - sexy fringe, plenty of natural waves. I just love that man's long wavy hair!

Gee, this BeatleBangs character sure does love George's beautiful wavy hair!

Hey, Dom! Felt I needed to add my voice in here... I think you have *very* nice hair, too, and I think it's much better than Ardy's (lol...) I've always preferred that early Beatles hair to the mullet, but, I think that you make both work quite well. Anyway... I think you look *wonderful* with your Beatle do... Really do...

Anyway... I'll talk to ya soon, Dom!!!

...

And... as far as "real" Beatle lads go, I've got to give my vote to Paulie, and his gorgeous hair!!! Love it--always have, and always will!!!

I'll take the moptop any day. It has sex appeal.

Say, Rita, your statement sounds vaguely familiar. I'm not sure where I saw it, but somebody else said the same thing about George's crowning glory.

No, apprently, he was having a ''bad trip'' and shaved all that off thinking he had warts and so on underneath...

(Well, maybe not in England.) I never heard
a mid-length layer cut called a mullet until the
last couple of years or so. I liked it. David Cassidy
had one, so did Bowie and most of the Stones.

Yes, John was really looking good in that movie!

George had the best hair.
I wonder who Beatlebangs picked?

My boy lollipop
You make my heart go giddy-up!
Your lips as sweet as candy
You're my sugar-dandy!

Everybody sing!

(I'm not even sure that's how it goes.)

In re the lollipop song - I always thought it was sugar daddy!

(In the 1960s, there was this candy called the sugar daddy. I never liked them; too sweet and too hard to chew. They were caramel tongue depressor shaped candies mounted on a stick. Rather risque in appearance, so I guess that's why they got their name).

I'm still puzzling over that one, ladies. Just who did BeatleBangs choose in re the best hair?
