Has anyone seen the 1965 movie Satan’s Bed?

Who can tell me the film’s Beatle connection?

Thumbs up

I remember seeing an old Monkees episode--can't remember which one--where Micky Dolenz is throwing darts at a picture of the Beatles.

Actually, it was Mike Nesmith throwing the dart.

Also, in another episode, Davy is carrying the Sgt. Pepper's album under his arm.

ALSO ALSO, in the last episode of the series, the Monkees wake up to the song "Good Morning, Good Morning."

...Yes, I watch the Monkees. A whole lot.

My secret shame. *cry*

Oh...oops. Told you it's been a while since I last saw that ep!

Here's another Beatles/Monkees connection. Does anyone remember a Pizza Hut Commercial a few years ago with Ringo as the spokesman? I think it was for stuffed-crust pizza. Ringo walks out and gives a little speech, then says, "Lads, the time has come...to eat our pizza crust first." And then, out come Micky, Peter, and Davy from the Monkees to help themselves to a slice! The commercial ends with a confused Ringo looking into the camera and saying, "Wrong lads."

Always liked that one!

In the episode of Gilmore Girls where Rory is getting ready to fill out her college applications there is a point in the show where Paris is freaking out about how the assembly isn't going to go the way she planned, so she complains to Rory about it.
Paris then says something along the lines of "Do you know what that idiot man told me? He said, 'This isn't the Beatles at Shea Stadium, Ms. Geller." (It makes more sense if you watch the episode)

Also, in one episode of Rosanne, she is holding a bridal shower for her friend so they try and guess the song that was on the radio when she lost her virginity, and someone guesses "My Sweet Lord."

Right you are, BK!

I haven’t seen the movie, but I have seen the trailer. The movie looks pretty tawdry, just a couple steps up from porn. You wouldn’t expect it to be on Mrs. John Lennon’s résumé.

Once again, I'm not looking through all 17 pages to see if someone posted it before..lol

I was watching Everybody Loves Raymond, and there's an episode were Ray's brother moves into his own apartment. It's Ray's first time there- and he's amazed by all the pretty girlies that lives there. He's in the elevator with a cute red head and she says " Hi, I'm Michelle." And Ray goes. " Like the Beatles..you know that song..that was kinda their french song..I bet you get that all the time" and the girl giggles and says " Yes."

I'm not sure that's EXACTLY what's said, but it's close.

I donno if this was mentioned before but:

"Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in The Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus..and I'd still have to bum rides off of people."

E-Ring played part of Paul's solo, "It's a Fine Line."

My kids were watching a show called Rockos Modern Life, and epsoide was about him biting his nails, someone comes to the and asks what are you hiding? His reply was Everybodys got something to hide except meat and my monkey. Also Shangi night with Jackie Chan when refering to his grandchildren as Vera, Chuck and Dave. P.S. has anyone else noticed the rip off of sexy sadie on the Last JET cd?

Was watching my Beavis and Butthead dvd, and they were listening to the radio at work, and there was a contest where if the caller answered the question correctly they would be guest dj's, The question was "Which history making English pop group were known as the Fab 4?" To which Butt head replies- "That question sucks, Math was never my best subject" Lol

I was watching Golden Girls the other day and in the episode, Dorothy's daughter, Katie, was going to come and bring her boyfriend over to meet Dorothy and the other girls. Dorothy makes a comment about how Katie nevers stays with the same guy for over 6 months or something, and then she goes " The only man she was ever interested in for over 6 months was Paul McCartney." and then Rose gasps and goes "Katie dated Paul McCartney?!" Dorothy replies " Yes, Rose. They wanted to get engaged but I insisted she stay in grade school."

The greatest of them all was the movie Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band-which takes its main plot idea from Yellow Submarine, stars Peter Frampton (who played on All things must pass at Harrison's request-though was uncredited) and Billy Preston as Sgt Pepper.
When the Guests of Heartland parade at the end there are even TWO BEATLES!!!
(see the IMDB for more details)

Also in The 1968 Monkees Annual, the is a cartoon strip where the monkees move out of their apartment and The Beatles and their guru move in. There is also an artical on star pads which has a picture of Ringo at home
