I've always thought that they say "Nu forts鋞ter vi resan" which is Swedish for "Let's continue the journey"... I don't know if that's what they say (I don't think they do) but I've always thought that it makes sense, and that it would've been cool if they did...

Oh thank you but I've a last question : when do they say 创captain, captain`` in the song exactly ? after, before or during the 创tut, tut`` ?

thanks

PS : Can you write without a short word like Sgt please, because I speak only a little the english... I say that sgt mean sergent but maybe another word I won't know... Thank you very much.

Sgt = Sergeant

The "captain captain" is at 1.43, it's not very perceptible though.

The part that you are referring to, I hear as "post ready for descent!" which seems like a natural thing to say on a submarine. Though they spoke some German, I don't think the Beatles ever picked up any swedish.

To do away with any myths surounding it, it's all in English there is no Swedish German or Dutch as some claim. Taxman has mentioned all the right words.

It's probably worth pointing out that 'boatswain' is sometimes written 'bosun' which is a lot nearer to the way it's pronounced!

I'm not sure they actually say 'cut the cable,drop the cable'.But I don't know what they do say!

The fourth line is definitely 'Aye,aye,sir,aye,aye'.
