Private Messages

Is there any maximum to how many messages can be stored?

I have 869 private messages now and maybe this interupts the system.

Just wondering.

Wow, you've been busy. There are limits to the private messages, but I can't remember what they are. I think you can have 20 replies for each message, and I think you can have 60 messages stored in your folder at any time.

Basically, if it's still letting you send and receive, don't worry about it. But deleting some really old ones wouldn't hurt.

But thanks Blue Mary Ryan for the compliment, so it was worth the number, I was just wondering because of the crash, so I did not know if I had 8, 6 or 9 messages open in my book, so I just combined the numbers.

So

1. Jerry - relax, I do delete the old ones from time to time
2. Ladies - not the special ones ofcourse

I was wondering if you could tell me honestly if the private messages to other fans are accessible by the moderators and administrators. I used to spend all my time on the forum at the Ringo Tour website but one of the regulars bellyached to the webmaster enough till he gave her access so she could edit and delete postings on what was a self governing forum.

Now she appears to have gotten them to change the format to one similar to what you have here and thus her filthy Eastern dictator ways are progressing to complete control and she is I fear, dare I say it, bent on ruling the World, or at least the forum. Now you are required to register and sign on. I have no big problem with that I just would like it to be a third party and not a Hitler wannabe. I was just wondering how much of our so called "Private" info she can access. "Thangs fer Coomin"!!!
