"Friends - Reason, Season, Lifetime"

People come into your life for a reason, a season,
or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you
know exactly what to do. When someone is in your
life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you
have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have
come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide
you with guidance and support, to aid you physically,
emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like G~d-
send, and they are. They are there for the reason you
need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on
your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will
say or do something to bring the relationship to an
end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk
away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you
to take a stand. What we must realize is that our
need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is
done. The prayer you sent up has been answered
and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it
is because your turn has come to share, grow, or
learn. They may bring you an experience of peace
or make you laugh. They may teach you something
you have never done. They usually give you an
unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But,
only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
those things you must build upon in order to have a
solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the
lesson, love the person/people (any way); and put
what you have learned to use in all other relationships
and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but
friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life.....

Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...

Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one

This are some italian words of inspiration:

"Chi trova un amico, trova un tesoro"

Trans: Who a friend founds, founds a treasure.

Here are some of mine...these are the ones currently on my AOL profile. They change constantly...anyway here ya go!

"Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you."

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
- Mahatma Ghandi

"Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got."
—Janis Joplin

"The fastest way to a man's heart is by tearing a hole through his ribcage."

"If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there."

"You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom. "
- Malcolm X

"There's high, and there's high, and to get really high--I mean so high that you can walk on the water, that high--that's where I'm goin'."

(the ones that recognize the two George Harrison quotes are the ones I got from profile siggies here, so thank you for inspiring me!!!)
