Default Brainwashed liner notes and \"thenewno2\"

Dhani said he and a friend designed the album artwork and under "Art direction and photography" it says "thenewno2". I don't want to make any assumptions so I'm going to ask-- is that Dhani's company?

Also, did anyone else find it funny that:
"Jim Keltner appears couresy of Cynthia" and "Jon Lord appears couresy of himself"?

Is Cynthia Jim's wife or something?

Peace

Maybe thenewno2 is just some usual Harrison fun, like also the Jon Lord thing.

About Jim Keltner, I tried to find the mrs. name but did not find it.

Then again if you read the thank you's, there are various new names, maybe because of Jeff's location (Joan and Mollie are not mentioned sweeping stairs). The Paul could be Sir, but not sure, whereas our dearest, kind, friendly Heather is not mentioned where Barb is.

I have a feeling this is Dhani's company. The name is probably taken from the TV series 'The Prisoner':

"Who are you?
The new Number Two
Who is Number One?
You are Number Six
I am not a number . . .
I'm a free man!"

I also have a picture of Dhani taken in 94 wearing a 'Prisoner' T-shirt, so...maybe??

George was quite the Prisoner fan, so it's likely Dhani named his graphics company
after this. Each episode featured a new
number 2, because each one failed to
"Brainwash" Number 6. A perfect name for a
great company who made the perfect cover
for George's masterpiece!

What, George a fan of "The prisoner" ?

Cool !

Those of you who seen my posts in the past will know that I have had my current signature for a while as I'm a HUGE fan of the series...

Speaking of the "Brainwashed" liner notes, in the "thank you credits", they mention Paul but not John ? They did in the liner notes of "Somewhere in England", no ?

Be seeing you...

"You... are number six !"

"I am not a number, I am a free man !"

Default it's his band

Perhaps this is elsewhere on Beatlelinks, but through a series of events I discovered that Dhani's new music video, Choose What You're Watching is available from http://www.thenewno2.com/. And yes, it's the name of his band. I can't get the other music clips to work though.

It's pretty low budget, which is cool. Maybe he and Sean are having an indie-er than though war. heh.

P.S. I found this thread via a Google search. Nice to be back! :)

... a couple of episodes even had two ''Number #2's'' in them !

Also two of the ''Number #2's'' actually appeared in two episodes each (Colin Gordon and Leo McKern). *

* Mckern appeared in yet a third episode but in that one he was refered to as ''the late number #2'' (alluding to the fact that he'd died in the previous episode)

Well, ''The Prisoner'' and ''Monty Python''... George had very good taste, as far as t.v. shows are concerned.

Right about ''Brainwashed'' fitting in with the theme of tha show... in fact had that song and that series been done in the same era, I could have seen them playing ''Brainwashed'' in one of the scenes of the last episode... in which ''All you need is love'' was heard !

I wonder how much of kick did Gorge ge whenhe first saw that a Beatles song was used in ''The Prisoner'' !
