Since when are the 80's oldies? I tuned in the oldies station and a I heard a bunch of 80's songs.

I agree with Versus, it might be ok if they still played older things, but now Motown is about the oldest thing you can hear on the radio. The oldies station in our area played 50s,60s and 70s music four years ago and now it's primarily 70s with a spattering of 60s and more and more 80s everyday.

One can only hear "Footloose" so many times before loosing ones sanity.

I don't remember a cowbell in that.

That song was played on our muzak during October. It always reminds me of my junior year in high school. That and songs from Aerosmith and Boston were big at the time.

Cowbells are better than doorbells though, aren't they? Supertramp's Dreamer starts with a doorbell. Ding-dang-dong sorta. Or at least, that's what my mil thought when she heard it and went to open the door! Nobody there but my fil busy digging in the garden. She looks at him, goes "Ha ha ha. Aren't you a little too old for that?" and closes the door. He didn't understand a thing!
