Default Freddie Starr

Freddie Starr, who took the name Starr from Ringo Starr, as Ringo played with him in some early bands, was big in Liverpool about the time the Beatles were emerging. He was bigger than the Beatles. His manager claims that John Lennon twice attempted to get Freddie to join he Beatles. Freddie was in a more successful band so laughed at them. Freddie was in Hamburg at the same time as the Beatles and was good friends with John Lennon.

Freddie is a nutball.

I believe the guy on the right in the Jordonaires, the baritone, died a few months back.

Wrong guy. The bassman is Ray Walker who is still going strong. One of the others passed on.

Freddie Starr is not only a nut ball but also currently a suspect in sexual assault cases.
He is not only not funny but slightly more sinister (allegedly) than a nut ball.

"alleged", sexual assault, which appears groundless. Freddie is hilarious. I have been to one of his shows. He doesn't have to work or try to be funny - he is a natural. His career has ground to a halt because producers will not work with him, as he is so unpredictable.

Dunno if the allegations are groundless. It's gone a bit quiet for the time being.
