Alanis Morissette will release 'Flavors of Entanglement', her first studio album in 4 years this weekend.
The album was produced by Guy Sigworth (Bjork, Imogen Heap). The first single is called 'Underneath'.
Alanis says she drew heavily on personal change for this record. "I often write in retrospect, but this was written in real time," she says of this album. "This record helped me through some fragile moments. Every song was like a life raft."
The album comes off the back of her split with fiancé Ryan Reynolds who left her for Scarlett Johnansson.
Alanis now has a new boyfriend but won't say who he is.

Here's her new single "Underneath" which may sound somewhat non-Alanis at first but does have that magic touch
Here is The Making Of Underneath, which has Alanis talking about it and how it reflects things going on within herself and about people saying "you should do this...do that..." and about environment and animals.
She's looking great and what she says in this video is just so so so good
