I love this song so much! I love the psychedelic sound of it, and the words are almost like a mantra. John's voice sounds so cool!

Great song and great song title! John described it as "a throw-away title" but I have never thought that it is.

Ringo was always very good at these titles. John might be refering to the fact that Ringo just threw these words out, and judging by the fact that he used it, thought it would make an excelent title. And yes it somehow fits the song.

It's what got me hooked.
If Tomorrow Never Knows had been a "throw-away title", then probably I wouldn't be here now. Or something.

I thought it was just a name, made out of Ringo's worn out expression.

"Tomorrow Never Knows" is definitely one of the Beatles' crowning achievements as a band. It's an incredible piece of music in its own right. But its placing, as the closing track on REVOLVER, makes it even more powerful. It's the pinnacle to which the entire album ascends. I still remember the first time I heard it, when I was just a teenager, being spellbound. And I still am.
I also love Take One of the song (the version on ANTHOLOGY).... a breathtaking recording too.

Amazing, with some of Ringo's best drumming. Also, whenever I listen to it I think how much I love the line 'and play the game existence to the end'.

bagels should be boiled before being baked

that is the proper way to do things

there is something primal about bread

an ancient food

it's comforting

perhaps genetic?

tomorrow never knows is not comforting to me

but i do find it sounds primal

Oh! This song is just amazing!! I love it to pieces. I remember seeing in this book on 60s psychadelia that it was the most psychadelic song ever. (at least, in the author's opinion. Mine too, actually) It's so weird, yet so cool. I love the vocal effects and Ringo's drumming, and those crazy sound loops
