I'm young, but I'm not a teen anymore. I'm older than you guys, but I'm young at the same time. I'm 24 nearly 25.

I'm 15 and I've loved The Beatles for about 5 years. They are the best band in the world. The Beatles were the reason I took up playing the guitar. I just wish there was someone in New Hampshire who liked The Beatles and played guitar like me. I've always been the only one in my school who has liked the beatles. It's good to know there are other kids my age out there who appreciate good music.

Oooh New Hampshire! I'm from NJ meself, but me family drives up to maine every summer. I've made some Beatle converts "north new England way..."
a few in Mass. and one in Maine.

I am 15 and started loving the beatles at 12 or eleven. You have to be young, so your parents can buy you the records, they are too expensive

Ok... I know this thread is forever old and no one's posted on it in quite a while, but I think it's really fun and want to revive it. There's no time like the present, and after all, why not?

Alrighty. Like Naomi, I am a sort of old Beatles fan. 25. I don't consider myself old in the way of Beatles fans, but all you young 'ens are making me feel it. Anyways, I was reading all your little sories about what it's like being in high school and teased and all that, as my 3 other friends and I (the "Beatlefreaks") were really super obsessed when we were in high school. So I started loving them when I was 17. Anyway.. people were relatively nice to our faces; we'd get a bit of ribbing. Stupid questions and such. In band once, a freshman asked my friend Annie "so if you married a Beatle, would your last name be Beatle?" That was actually pretty funny. But yea; I've since discovered that people made fun of us quite a bit behind our backs. But that's high school you know. We made fun of people a lot behind their backs, so I don't know why we'd expect them to do any differently to us. So to all of you young 'ens, I'd give you some advice that the "freaks" and I lived by back in our day: just have fun with it, and don't worry too terribly much what the other kids in your school think of you. Once you get out and embark on life in college and such, you'll realize how their opinions don't matter very much, and anyways, it's sort of fun to not conform to other high schoolers anyways, isn't it?

Although I must say I'm very glad to see so many younger people getting into the Beatles. That's just awesome! You all rock...

. I was about 5 when I actually heard the Beatles, I guess thats when I started blooming into a Beatle fanatic

. Now my little brother is 5 and he knows Yellow Submarine and Bungalow Bill by heart....

Aight, fun little story about little kids and oldies music.
So when my bro, sis and I were little, before we had a cassette player, we used to listen to our parents old records. We loved the Monkees. And I mean loved. We even played like we were them, and fought over who got to be Davey. And watched the reruns on tv every day. And I remember looking through my parents' LP's, and we had like 4 Monkees records, but only 2 Beatles ones, and I remember thinking "Oh, I feel bad for these Beatles guys. They must not have been as popular since they only have 2 records and didn't have their own tv show." Can you imagine?! Feeling bad for the Beatles because the Monkees are better?! Ha. Kids are fun.

Hey Tiff, I'm 16, though I've been listening to the Beatles all my life (Literally) I was lucky enough to have parents(Especially my mum) who love the Beatles immensly, so I already have a majority of the *Original* albums (I've heard some where re-made etc.) though some have gone missing through the years. I'm hoping to get more of them as CDs though, since it's a little easier now. It's amusing since I've been singing since I was about 3, and I think one of the first songs I learned was Help!

I haven't checked this post in a few months. Sorry. I have an Alverez acustic guitar and an Epiphone Casino like John Lennon's, after he took the paint off. I've been playing guitar for almost three years.

I'm 16 by the way, and have been a Beatles fan for nearly a year...quite pathetic I know but I've made up for lost time by going totatlly Fab-crazy! anyone near me n about my age wanna get together with guitars sometime? I'm a bit lonely with just ma dad, as great as he is!

im proud to say that ive been a Beatles fan all my life. my dad has all the records (my inheritance) and raised me on the stuff along with other classic rock bands. they were the only band that made me wanna have a carreer in music (started off with drums then progressd to guitar and bass). im also glad to know that im not the only "old" person here (im 21 but act like im 18 if that helps). if any of you beatle people wanna chat, my aim is herbskillet and yahoo is herbskillet2001
