Summer moderator job
I want to be moderator at least once but unfortunately right now I have school. I will also have summer school but I won't be so busy during the summer. Please let me have this temporary job. School ends for me June 12th so I'll be free.

Re: Summer moderator job
I wouldn't really consider it a job, more of a 'status', or a volunteer thing (except you don't volunteer, they choose you )
But then again, I've only been here since January, so I most likely don't know what I'm talking about

Re: Summer moderator job
The position of Moderator is not a temp job. It's a full time job, 24/7. All of the moderators here have been given that status by Jerry. He alone has the final say-so. As long as you stay a "member in good standing", one day Jerry just might think of offering you the position. Until then, all you have to do is keep contributing useful info everytime you can and keep your nose clean.

Re: Summer moderator job
Well it's not like I'm out there searching for the best members day and night. When we feel like we need another moderator, everybody makes their suggestions and we just decide on one. Right not, I don't think we'll need any for awhile.

So does it have to do with how many stars you have? Or how many posts, i suppose?

Re: Summer moderator job
While we do want moderators who have been with Beatlelinks for a while and "check in" frequently, we also want them to get along well with others and be familiar with the subjects of their forums.
