Transmision of performance in "Thank Your Lucky Stars" (recorded January 13, 1963).

1964
Performances at the Olympia, Paris. Recorded by French radio.

1965
Brian flies to New York to negotiate dates and details for the next Beatles North American tour. Also for promotional visits of Cilla Black and Gerry and the Pacemakers.

1966

Rubber Soul number 1, 7th week (UK Record Retailer).


"Day Tripper/We Can Work It Out", 7th week in the Top 10 (UK Record Retailer).

1967
Studio 2. 7:30pm-2:30am. Recording: "In The Life Of..." (working title of "A Day In The Life") (takes 1-4). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Phil McDonald.

End of trial after Paul's action.

The Beatles LP is played in the courtroom of the Sharon Tate murder trial. The purpose being to find out if any songs could have influenced Charles Manson and his followers to commit murder.

John and Yoko attend Jimmy Carter's Presidential Inauguration Ball.

In Los Angeles, an exhibition of Linda's photographs is on display at the Jan Baum and Iris Silverman Gallery.

1981

1984

1986
An intruder enters the Dakota building while Yoko is asleep. He departs after leaving some notes, a photograph and a personal letter to Yoko. The police later arrest the suspect.

1988
US releases on CD: Ringo's Blast From Your Past (Parlophone CDP 7 46663 2) and Paul's McCartney (Parlophone CDP 7 46611 2) and Ram (Parlophone CDP 7 46612 2).

1990
Paul performs in concert at Wembley Arena, London ("Get Back Tour").

1994
Evening: ceremony in New York; John is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Yoko, Sean and Paul attend. Also inducted are Bob Marley, Rod Stewart, the Grateful Dead, Elton John, the Animals, the Band, and Duane Eddy.

At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.

Long-time friend of the Beatles, Carl Perkins dies from a series of strokes. He was 65.

In Washington, D.C., an exhibition of Beatles photographs taken by Harry Benson is on display at the Govinda Gallery.

1999
In Tampa, Florida, the exhibition of Linda's pictures entitled "Sixties" is on display at the Tampa Museum of Art.

2001
It's reported that Paul McCartney was set to become the world’s first pop star billionaire. McCartney is said to be worth $1,233,000,000 and was expected to become a billionaire after huge sales from the Beatles compilation hits album.
