Default Fears

Anybody got any irrational fears? Or any rational ones?

Hoo boy, I have a lot of fears
Most of them are me being paranoid. Say, if I'm browsing the Internet at night and the sound on my computer is turned on, that is the moment I'm going to accidentally click on an obnoxiously loud YouTube video and wake up everyone in the house.

Fish! >.< or any seafood. Alive, dead, cut up into sushi...

One time my dad literally chased me around with a dead baby octopus (got at some sushi bar) and then put it right in front of my door for me to step on. -shiver-

I have always had a fear of heights, my Mom finally told me in my teens when I was an infant, I was stapped on the top of a bassinett/changing table, her and my Dad left the room I was in for a couple of minutes, they came back and found me face down of the floor, unconscious, the stap broke and I rolled right off onto the floor, guess that's why the fear of heights, I still go up in elevators and will go to the edge of a tall building to see the view as long as there is a good wall all the way around, I have trouble stepping out onto something high that has a see through floor and has a good drop below it...

I also have am a nervous wreck the whole time I drive on the highways, more so in the last ten years, particularly with the new crop of speed demon/dare devil drivers who care nothing about the speed, weight of and auto/deadly weapon, cram themselves into a space the size of a car length, that a minute ago was 4 car lengths, they do not know what a safe distance is when weaving in and out of traffic because you going a consistent 65mph

Thumbs up

I mentioned heights, for years I was terrified when I flew, did it anyway, last ten years, I really am not afraid of flying, sure wish it didn't cost and arm and a leg to fly though!

Driving
Clowns
Showers - Well, it's not exactly a fear, it's just that I hate the sensation of the water against my skin. I prefer baths.

I have a fear of heights, can't go above the second step on a ladder.

I also fear poverty and isolation.

I'm a little scared of spiders and other bugs, but nothing really phobic. Same with rats and other yucky things like that. I guess the only other thing I'm scared of is marriage - I don't really want to do it.

Roller coasters I don't mind being in an airplane going 600 mph, or a car going 60 mph, but when I'm on a ride going 25 mph I'm terrified out of my mind.

I don't think I'd be scared of roller coasters if they didn't make me so sick.

What I really hate is when you think one is dead and you sweep it off the porch and it buzzes. I swear those things are nature's joy buzzers.

I'm really terrified of bees and wasps and hornets and once I locked myself in the bathroom because of one. But apparently when I was a baby I got stung several dozen times so it may stem from that.

Also, any water deeper than my knees.

The only snakes that scare me are poisonous ones and constrictors.

Why are you scared of it? Some loss of personal freedom or something?

I'm kind of scared of flying bugs. I have a bunch of other fears, too, but then again, I'm paranoid.

Been there, done that with the marriage thing Rell, I had a 19 year relationship, could not give up total freedom, as it turns out, it was best for me, at 19 years into our relationship, he walked away, going after/stalking a 19 y/o girl, then on to her Mom who the heck was that guy??????
