Default Did the Beatles purposely change musical styles every two studio albums?

Did the Beatles purposely change musical styles every two studio albums?

Every two (US) studio albums the musical style is so similar that each pair could've been a double-album.

Meet the Beatles
Beatles Second

Beatles 65
Something New

Revolver
Rubber Soul

White Album (A double album because the songs are a hodge podge?)

Sgt. Pepper
Magic Mystery Tour

Abbey Road
Let It Be

It's called evolution. They are for my money the best representation of musical evolution through a group's, or single artist's, career.
