Broad question.
Alright here is what I am going to do. I am going to leave the previous question open for the rest for the month, so if someone finds the answer they can still answer the question. In the meanwhile I'll do my best to come up with some less obscure questions. Something that's more widely known, and which answer isn't just in one book. So therefor the answer to the following question can be find in two books. But I think it's more widely known at least among Paul fans.
Again concerning Paul's "Give my regards to broadstreet" movie.
How did Paul come up with the idea and inspiration for the plot of "Give my regards to broadstreet"?

GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADSTREET was a 1984 musical adventure film that was loosely based on a day in the life of Paul McCartney. Kinda like A Hard Day's Night.
Paul McCartney plays himself in another exaggerated "Day In the Life." Included are fictional scenes of the star preparing to film two videos, rehearsing in a loft, playing for the BBC, and even dreaming up a rather horrific nightmare. A loosely developed plot about missing master tapes ties all these events together

Yes the plot is a bit on the true side, but no it wasn't Paul who lost the tapes. Producer Chris Thomas told Paul how ..... ......
Fill in the rest.

Still looking for an answer to this question. The missing master tapes was not something that happened to Paul, but it happened while Chris Thomas was working on...
You really only need to find the band Chris was working for, the rest of the answer is basicly laid out. Paul based the story producer Chris Thomas told him etc.
