Revolution 2
My favorite version of Revolution is the David Frost Show version. Rocks like "Revolution" with the "sho-be-do-was" of "Revolution 1." I've never seen a boot with it. Is there one?

I totally agree! My friends and I were just talking about how great that version of the song is and how much we wished we had it. I love how John is clenching his teeth, and that comes through in his singing.

Now that it's on DVD, you'd think someone would rip a good CD version.

Five Point Wonderful is an 8 cd set of extractions of all the channels of the Anthology DVD mixes. There's also Two Track Mind which presents the audio from the DVDs in stereo. These are definitely core releases! The David Frost "Revolution" audio appears on many other bootlegs, too.

I've been meaning to post this to my Beatlegs page, but haven't gotten around to it yet:
Revolution (David Frost Show)
My copy is from the Anthropology bootleg, incidentally. And it's my favorite version of the song, as well.

I think my mom has it on this Beatles Rarities cassette. I love that version!

I ripped the audio from a Youtube video of the live performance from the David Frost show. Pretty good quality and great to listen to. I don't know why they didn't keep those backing vocals in the released version.

I ripped it from the DVD and then edited out John's voice over using GarageBand. Not hard.
