Good Ol' Freda news update - with clock ticking down, success is imminent
November 9, 2011 – The clock is ticking down for*Good Ol’ Freda, the Beatles documentary featuring Freda Kelly, National Secretary for the Official Beatles Fan Club during that fab decade we called the 60s. There are just 50+ hours left to make this a reality by 11-11-11, with 540 backers and $48, 906 now raised--and the numbers go up by the hour.With just a little over $1000 left to raise to meet their $50,000 minimum, The Freda People are already celebrating with just a touch of hand-wringing that speaks to the amount of campaigning and outreach programs that have been taking place to bring this film to reality.

Good Ol' Freda news: Success! $50k goal reached--pledges still needed
Congratulations are in order for Good Ol’ Freda, the upcoming Beatles documentary featuring Freda Kelly. Freda was National Secretary of the Official Beatles Fan Club for the entire decade of Beatlemania and she's ready to share her memories. Thanks to all you devoted Beatles fans, the project will proceed. The film has successfully reached its initial $50,000 pledge goal on Kickstarter as of last night, two days before the 11-11-11 deadline
