AOL Music Honors George Harrison With First Listen for 'Stuck Inside A Cloud,' the Lead Track From the Upcoming Album Brainwashed

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 25, 2002--America Online, the world's leading interactive service, and Capitol Records today announced that "Stuck Inside A Cloud," the first track to be released from the upcoming George Harrison album Brainwashed, will premiere exclusively on AOL Music's First Listen on Monday, October 28. The album, which contains the recordings that George Harrison was working on--until two months before he died in 2001--is scheduled for a U.S. release on November 19, 2002.

The exclusive premiere of "Stuck Inside A Cloud" will debut for AOL members only at AOL Keyword: First Listen on Monday, October 28 at 12:01 a.m. Starting Tuesday, October 29, "Stuck Inside A Cloud" will also be available to fans on the Web at Netscape Music (music.netscape.com), AOL Instant Messenger's AIM Today, ICQ and CompuServe.

Having just listened to Stuck Inside a Cloud here's my 2 cents worth. It sounds as if this song could've been on Cloud 9. Jeff Lynne's acoustic guitar rings loud and clear. George's slide guitar is brilliant as always. Only 22 more days til Brainwashed!!! It's great to hear from an old friend again. Going back to listen again!!!!!!!! See ya!

I love it! It's very tender and touching..and a bit sad too. It's just so great to hear his voice again and am anxiously awaiting the 19th.
I'm just afraid it won't be received too well by non-Beatle fans, thus it not getting too much airplay. It may be a bit too contemporary or "out there" for the public to grasp, as a whole. I seriously hope I'm wrong. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Probably not. With the way the radio is controlled today- George actually wears clothing while singing his songs = less attention by the Capitalists pigs who run the radio stations
