BBC's "It's The Beatles" filmed at the Fans Club Convention.

Concert at the Empire, Liverpool.

Concert at the Ardwick Apollo, Manchester.

At the Kolnischer Kunstverein in Cologne, West Germany, the exhibition of Yoko's work "Happening And Fluxus" is shown.

1971

US album release: Wild Life (Apple SW 3386).

1973

UK album release: Band On The Run (Apple PAS 10007).

In the US, Band On The Run receives a gold record from the RIAA.

1977
Additional recording sessions for London Town LP, at Abbey Road Studios.

1978
George attends the Eric Clapton and Elton John concert at the Guildford Civic Hall in Surrey. He joins them on stage and performs the song "Further On Up The Road".

1979
Wings perform in concert at the Empire Pool, Wembley, England ("Wings UK Tour").

1980
John and Yoko are pleased with the results of their "Playboy" interview. John phones Aunt Mimi to tell her that he will be coming to England and Liverpool.

At his Friar Park home studio, George records the track "Dream Away".

John's killer checks into the Sheraton Hotel, makes a trip to the Dakota and purchases the "Playboy" issue with John and Yoko's interview.

1981
UK EP release: "The Beatles EP Collection" (Parlophone BEP 14). 1st use of the stereo mix of "The Inner Light" (mixed January 27, 1970).

The "Liverpool Echo" publishes an exclusive interview with John's Aunt Mimi, entitled "My Boy John - I Just Want To Put The Record Straight".

In Madrid, Spain, a street is renamed John Lennon Boulevard. Walls of the street feature a large mural inspired by the Beatles' movie "Yellow Submarine".

In the US, "People" magazine features a conversation between Ringo and Tom Snyder, host of NBC TV's "Tomorrow" program.

In Liverpool, plans are announced that the original Cavern Club may be excavated and a shop and office built above it.

1983
Ringo records the narration for 26 more episodes of "Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends".

In Los Angeles, the Linda exhibition "Photographs" is displayed at the Molly Barnes Gallery.

1984
Worldwide single release: "Do They Know It's Christmas?"/"Feed The World" (Mercury FEED 1), featuring Paul's brief message on the B-side.

In the UK, Paul makes a surprise appearance on the Channel 4 program "The Tube".

A benefit concert for Ethiopia was held at The Royal Albert Hall, London, featuring, Nick Heyward, Feargal Sharkey, Julian Lennon, Mike Rutherford and others.

1985
At BBC Television Centre in London, Paul makes a live appearance on the BBC1 Saturday morning children's show "Saturday Superstore". He takes part in an audience phone-in and introduces the promo videos for "Spies Like Us" and "We All Stand Together".

1986
In the US, the program "The Beatles - Twist And Shout" is syndicated to radio stations across the country.

The ITV program "The Human Factor" features Yoko and Sean and their meeting with Captain David Botting of the Strawberry Fields home in Liverpool.

1987

UK album release: Shaved Fish (Parlophone CDP 7 46642 2) on CD.

Paul's home video "Once Upon A Video" is simultaneously released around the world, except for North America.

The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.

1989
Paul's concert at the Skydome, Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, Ontario, Canada ("Get Back Tour").

1991
In London, the exhibition by Bob Whittaker, accompaning his book "The Unseen Beatles", is on display at the Photographer's Gallery in Great Newport Gallery.

George visits the Hiroshima Peace Park.

1992
In the US, the Disney Channel airs its "Eight Days A Week Tribute To The Beatles".

1995
In London, during a routine scan a small malignant tumor is found in one of Linda's breasts.

1997
At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.

BBC1 broadcasts a pre-recorded interview with Paul on the program "Breakfast With Frost".

1998
Paul turns down the offer to purchase the Everton Football Club.

2005
The MBE medal that John returned to the Queen was found in a royal vault at St James' Palace. Lennon returned his medal in November, 1969 with a letter accompanying saying, "Your Majesty, I am returning my MBE as a protest against Britain's involvement in the Nigeria-Biafra thing, against our support of America in Vietnam and against "Cold Turky" slipping down the charts. With Love, John Lennon." Historians were calling for the medal to be put on public display.
