Today I bought some interesting art that came from the estate of Al Brodax, who was the Executive Producer for the Beatles cartoon and Yellow Submarine.
One is a cel that I think was used to make the 1965 UK tour programme. Or perhaps a model or test cel for that art.
The other is from Yellow Submarine but is a little unusual. It looks like it comes from the Lucy in the Sky sequence but it has a background and 2 red stars that don't match. It also doesn't have the normal cel holes but it could be trimmed. It came with a letter from Al Brodax and is visibly old so I know it's authentic, just trying to learn more about it. I almost wonder if it was created as advertising art. Any help? Anybody recognize this particular set up?
