Greenwich's Dan Macaulay is Finalist in John Lennon Song Writing Contest

Contemporary Christian music recording artist and Greenwich resident Dan Macaulay has reportedly been named a Finalist (Session II) in the 2011 John Lennon Song Writing Contest.Macaulay made it to the Finalist round in the Gospel/Inspirational category for his song “In Awe,” from his latest release, “From You, For You,” according to the JLSC website.Launched in 1997, the John Lennon Songwriting Contest is open to amateur and professional songwriters who submit entries in any one of 12 categories. The contest is open year-round and features two Sessions with 72 Finalists, 24 Grand Prize Winners, 12 Lennon Award Winners and 1 "Song of the Year."
