9/9/09 to 9/9/17

It's the eight year anniversary of the release of the remastered CDs. Doesn't seem that long ago I was systematically buying the new CDs in a Target Store in Whittier, California. Each payday I'd go over to the store and pick up two or three more until I had them all. First on the list to get The White Album and Past Masters. I thought it would be somehow fun to hear "Number 9, Number 9, Number 9" on 9/9/09.

Anybody recall their anticipation building as the release date arrived? Remember deciding which to get, the box set or the individual titles?

8 Years has come and gone since all this happened.
What were your impressions of first seeing or hearing them? Do you recall where your copies came from?
