My first Beatles song was probably "Anytime at all". It is an older song but my dad had it on a cassette tape and i loved it the minute i heard it.

My first Beatles song was "She Loves You" and we used to say it was the "yeah yeah yeah" song...awww, memories.

Fixing a hole :)
My dad was bored that evening...there was nothing to watch, So he inserted his CD of the beatles. I was sleeping that evening at the balcony. I got up because I was awakened by this song (fixing a hole) and before you know it, I was a Beatles Fan :)

Cool. I never expected to see Fixing A Hole appear as a response.

She Loves You was the first Beatles song I heard in 1986. I was 8 years old. My cousin went to our house and he has this Beatles cassette tape. We played it and I said to my cousin "this is great, man!" I'm 29 yrs old now and still love the Beatles. BEATLES 4-EVER!!!

Many people have mentioned "She Loves You", but it is a song that doesn't leave anybody calm.

My first Bealtles Song was Penny Lane, I was about 9 years old, and had a small transistor radio I would listen to.
I was at home in our driveway fixing my bike and heard Penny lane and thought it was a neat song...it was 1970 April....ring a bell anyone?
I had heard the song several times, I knew my dad had a lot of records as he was an avid music lover, so i looked and found Rubber Soul, Revolver and Abby Road...that started me on the Beatles, and I'm still a big listener and fan to this day.

I suppose the first song I heard, by the Beatles, was "All My Loving" on Ed Sullivan's program. I wasn't used to hearing anything quite like it. I was immediately struck by their music - their beat - and later by their personal charm. However, I can more accurately remember seeing the Saturday morning cartoon, and "Hard Days Night" when it was shown on tv. "Tell Me Why" stands out in my memory as the first Beatles song, of which I was aware.

Then, of course, there were the trousers.

For me as far as I can remember it was Yesterday...not The Beatles' performance of it but my brother's! He is 3 years older than me and when he was at pre-school they sang it in class and so he used to sing it all the time when I was a little wee baby. It is one of those songs that I have known the words to all my life and I actually learnt them by sound because I was too young to even know what they meant!

I have no idea. I was probably too young to remember (maybe even too young to know what a song was!)

Yellow Submarine in grade 4 (but i didn't become a Beatles fan until I was 14)
i used to dislike the song cause our grade 4 teacher made us sing it over and over. When I was that age The Beatles really meant nothing to me. I was too young to be into music. I was all caught up in the virtual pets and Pokemon craze.

I cannot remember, but it could have been "She Loves You", since it's the first song of A side in the first Beatles cassette we ever had at home. It was a compilation called "20 éxitos de oro" (you can see the cover and track list here). I may have heard other songs before, but I know that at the moment I first listened to this cassette, when I was five years old, I knew that was it.

Erik, your mother taught you well. After all, your mother should know!

George was just too fine for mere words to do him justice in this video!
