I once read in Parade Magazine, that similar to Paul, George, and Ringo, he grew up in public housing too. Has anyone seen the flick “Jersey Boys”? I would like to see it eventually. In addition, some fans many not know this, but his group the Four Seasons were the second White group besides the Beatles on the Vee-Jay label.
Not to mention, one of their top song writers, the late Bob Crewe was gay. There are rumors the beloved classic “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” was written about one of his boyfriends at the time. He also wrote the catchy instrumental “Music to Watch Girls By” or something like that. Equally important, generations love their music as well. BTW, did anyone see the popular play ? I listened to the soundtrack last year, it was OK. I was never a big fan of the group, but their songs are cool. “My Eyes Adored You” is one of my faves.
