Traveling Wilburys Reunion?
Jeff Lynne mentioned this in the attached link. Would you like to?
If it was just Jeff Tom and Bob I'd be okay with that. But no new members!!

Given that the only two members who could sing have been dead for 12 or 25 years, I would rather not see this happen.

If I ever write an animated movie about a goat trying to prevent gang warfare, and the goat sings a Michael Jackson parody called "Bleat It," then Tom Petty would be my first choice for the role. So I'll give him that.
That one's free. You're welcome, Hollywood.

I'd like to see Ayrton Wilbury in the group!
Otherwise, the only person I ever thought Wilbury-worthy was Johnny Cash... and maybe Warren Zevon. Not sure if Warren was a match, but maybe. But of course, they're both gone... : /

... like someone said earlier... reunion, fine, new members, never !
I can't even see who he'd want to put in there... Dhani ? ... Wesley (Orbison), or some "new/no" name, who'll make TW fans think/say/scream out "What's HE doing there ?" !
Some years ago, I could have seen a Carl Perkins or Del Shannon (who was reportedly considered for "Vol. 3") as a TW, but there aren't too many such candidates left...
Oh, and line-up-wise, if it does happen, they better have Jim Keltner on drums, as he was a much a Wilbury as the others.
I hope it's not just for a tour or one-off gig, but rather for a single or album as to have NEW Wilbury songs and, possibly, as a bonus, they could then incorporate some Roy and George (previously unreleased) material into those new works...
... and Jeff does have a real knack for such posthumous tracks (Roy, George, Beatles, Del Shannon...)

It's funny how Americans have adopted the word 'bad' as meaning something good!
Nothing like adding confusion to something so simple, eh? lol

Now people say 'sick' .... as a good thing, too. "That song is sick!" "Great, I'll check it out!" <------

Would Eric Clapton be a good Wilbury? I remember him on the Carl Perkins special, but does he have the humor required to be a Wilbury?
Dave Edmunds? Not a big name in the US. Nor Joe Brown, though he would be good.

Oooh, Dave Edmunds! Good one!
EC seems like a big stick on the mud to me... but George sure liked him!
