This thread is dedicated to the many unsung heroes of the Beatles pantheon.
My favorite of the lesser-known Beatles gods is Ivan Vaughan, whom I think QE2 should start considering for a posthumous knighthood. If it hadn't've been for "good ol' Ivey," where would we be now, after all? In a Beatle-less and much darker world, I tell ya...

 Chas Newby, who replaced Stuart on bass in 1961 and played four gigs as one of The Beatles, including their famous Litherland Town hall show that Bob Wooler described as 'the start of everything'. He was replaced on bass by, er, y'know, what was his name?
