Anyway, I know Roxy Music's version of Jealous Guy is in one of these cover threads because it's such a classic. But I just found this live version, which is even better than their studio version. I'm a little obsessed with it... plus, I had forgotten just how gorgeous Bryan Ferry used to be!

I was looking for non-Kidz Bop kids versions of Beatles songs, and I stumbled upon these.

Here are Emily & Fiona, doing some really fab harmony! ...and in a genuine tribute to John, they even flub the lyrics!




This kid is incredible! He looks to me to be about 9 years-old... and he's already got some soul!
[EDIT: Just found out he's some kind of You Tube phenom and he's now 17... silly me, first time I've ever heard of him!]

Default I Found Out by Elvis Costello
I saw Elvis a couple of weeks ago at an event to promote his excellent memoir... he spoke a lot about the Beatles and the role they played in his early life and musical development. Found this video on You Tube today. Great song choice. Elvis nails it.

Was wondering how he'd handle the "I've seen religion from Jesus to Paul" line. Yup, he definitely didn't want to offend his songwriting pal, so he changed it to "Saint Paul."
