Doctor Who...
Oh yes, he's back.
Did anyone else catch the first episode? Whatcha think? Personally I liked it and hope that now the pleasentries are out of the way, Chris can prove that he's got what it takes to be the new Doctor...

I saw it. It looked good. Christopher Ecclestone looks good in the role.

I think he's the 9th doctor...
1st - William Hartnell
2nd - Patrick Troughton
3rd - Jon Pertwee
4th - Tom Baker
5th - Peter Davidson
6th - Colin Baker
7th - Sylvestor McCoy
8th - Paul McGann
9th - Christoper Eccleson
Out of that lot, my favourite has got to be Tom Baker. Like Sean Connery is James Bond, Tom Baker IS the Doctor.
I didn't like Colin Baker or Sylvestor McCoy though. Eurgh - the arrogance!

By the way, has anyone else noticed that Patrick actually had a Beatle haircut?

I have no interest in Dr Who whatsoever but thought I would have a look. I was greatly disapointed. Will probably not be tuning in next week.

It's true...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...io/4395849.stm
Personally, I think that they should bring back Paul McGann as the Doctor, but if he doesn't want to, then I think Richard E. Grant would be a good choice. He has the extrovertness and mysterious nature to him that makes a good Doctor...

That was a bit of a shock to hear that Ecclestone decided to quit. At least we'll get to see the 21st century regeneration technology.

Yeah, that is what I saw too. You cannot miss the commercials. I remember when it used to play on TVOntario ... a very long time ago. I am going to tune in for sure.

Bill Bailey would be fabulous!!! I love Dr. Who!!! The new one's great and it's a shame CE is quitting so soon! I've heard that the fella in Casanova is tipped to be the next one. Can't see that myself!!! I think Richard E. Grant would be really cool!!!

my favourite for the next doctor is Richard E Grant. That Daniel guy in Cassanova is WAY too wet for my liking.

I think Richard E. Grant would be a worthy Doctor! He certainly looks the part :)
That said, I have seen the second episode (The End of the World) and loved it. Pity CE is leaving after one season...
