It takes us two days with one overnight. I could do it in a single day but that would be too much for me -- over 18 hours. Jamie's not coming, unfortunately, he's going to be up in the Adirondacks with his grandparents and cousins this year, so it's just Jim and me. We're getting to town a few days early and leaving the morning after the Fest.

Awww, we'll miss seeing Jamie! He's just too cute for words! Hopefully there will be another time when he can return & I hope he has a great time in the Adirondacks!

Food is always good, Mother T.
Thanks for the info, Susan. Don't blame you for splitting it into two days. Only so much time one should be in a car. Too bad that Jamie can't make it, but it'll be nice for you and Jim to get away.

I have to say Chicago fest does bring in the Linkers! In the past we've had a group up to around 20 people... didn't we? I seem to remember the big group shot! Hope you can come sometime Pinky! Wish everyone could be there!

Oswego's not too terribly far of a drive. Check it out, if you can.

No, it's not. I've been to that hotel before for another convention, actually. We're just trying to figure out if we're comfortable enough driving there ourselves--we're only 16 and only got our licenses recently, though my girlfriend does have a car.

I'm coming too! I want to try to get my Revolver shirt signed by Klaus Vorman, because he drew the cover for it.
